Sika® Remover-208 is a colourless solvent-based cleaning agent for plastics and painted substrates. It is designed for pre-cleaning strongly contaminated non-porous substrates and can also be used to remove uncured excess of Sikaflex® adhesive or sealant from soiled surfaces and application tools.
To clean painted surfaces, wipe the surface with a paper towel or rag moistened with Sika® Remover-208. For removal of Sikaflex® residue, bulk residue can firstly be removed with a knife or spatula, then use a rag or towel with Sika® Remover-208 to wipe off the remaining adhesive or sealant.
NOTE: Sika® Remover-208 is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
