Sika® MultiPrimer Marine is a solvent-based primer that reacts with moisture to create a link between substrates and adhesives. It is formulated for the treatment of bond faces before application of Sika one-component Polyurethanes (PU’s).
The colourless to slightly yellow primer is used to improve adhesion on metals such as aluminium, steel, galvanized steel and non-ferrous metal, and wood such as teak, mahogany, Oregon pine and cork. It can also be used to enhance the adhesion of Sikasil® sealants and adhesives.
NOTE: Before using Sika® MultiPrimer Marine on materials prone to stress cracking, seek manufacturer’s advice and perform tests on original substrates.
