Our Midland Chandlers Branches are Closing
As we prepare to close our 3 branch locations, we’re changing how we serve you so you can continue to access a wider range of products, expert support, and reliable delivery. This change will be complete on 20th March 2026.

These FAQs provide more detail on the changes to Midland Chandlers branch operations, how to order going forward, and the support available to you.
1. Why are the Midland Chandlers branches closing?
We’ve made the decision to close our Willington, Preston Brook, and Braunston branches and moved to a direct delivery model supported by our national distribution hub in Tamworth.

This change also allows Midland Chandlers to integrate more closely with the wider LKQ UK and Ireland logistics network. Looking ahead, we are working toward enabling pre-ordered Midland Chandlers products from 250 LKQ branches nationwide in the future. This is not available immediately, but we will share updates once this is ready.
2. When will the branches close?
As a result of the changes, each branch will close by 20th March 2026. We’ll continue to share updates, so you know what to expect and when.
3. How can I order after the branch closures?
You can continue to shop with Midland Chandlers in the following ways:
With delivery to any UK postcode including marinas, moorings with registered addresses, or your home addresses, using our nationwide courier partners.
In the future, we also plan to offer collection of pre-ordered items from 250 LKQ branches, and we will update you when this becomes available.
Our UK-based Midlands team is available to help with orders, advice, and product queries whenever you need support. They can also assist you with setting up and using an online account if you would like guidance or are new ordering online.
4. Is there any free delivery available during the transition?
Yes - to support customers during this change:
All Midland Chandlers customers (retail & trade) can receive free delivery* from the 21st March to the 30th April on all phone and online orders (no minimum spend). *This only applies to UK Mainland deliveries.
5. I used the Preston Brook trade van service — what happens now?
The Preston Brook trade van delivery service will end as part of the branch closure. Affected trade customers will be contacted separately by their regional account manager to confirm alternative arrangements.
6. Will I still be able to get help choosing the right products?
Yes, absolutely. You’ll continue to receive expert support through:

7. What happens to stock in the branches?
A selection of display stock will be available to purchase at favourable prices.
